Cylindrical roller bearings feature cylindrical rollers that have a larger contact area with the inner and outer raceways than standard bearings. This feature gives these bearings a very high radial load capacity and makes them ideal for heavy industrial equipment that carries heavy loads.
These bearings come in a variety of designs, including single-row, double-row, and full complement (without a cage), each of which is selected to suit specific industrial needs. Cageless models have a larger number of rollers and can carry heavier loads, but are not suitable for very high speeds due to the greater contact between components.
